    About The Kaleidoscope Trust

Promoting diversity and freedom from unlawful discrimination for LGBTI people around the world

The Kaleidoscope Trust works around the world to promote diversity and respect for all regardless of sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our supporters are drawn from all cultures, colours and creeds. Some may be gay or lesbian but many are not.

We share a belief that all people should be able to enjoy basic human rights free from unlawful discrimination, persecution or intimidation. Laws that make people criminals for how they were born are wrong. Societies that marginalise some of their citizens and deny them their rights are weaker not stronger.

Unlawful discrimination can be ended. It may take a long time. It will be achieved only through honest dialogue, open debate and a willingness to hear all sides of every argument.

A word from some of those who have helped found Kaleidoscope:

Rev. Ijeoma Ajibade‘As a priest and a mother I am committed to keeping families and communities together. Nobody should be excluded through no fault of their own.’

    - Rev. Ijeoma Ajibade

Bisi Alimi‘I was forced to leave my home country, Nigeria, because of my sexuality. My dream is that others like me will be free to stay and be happy surrounded by the love of their friends and families.’

    - Bisi Alimi

Paul Gambaccini‘I am blessed. I have my health, I am in love, and I have a good job. When I was a boy, society would not even acknowledge my existence. Now I am getting married. Change is possible.’

    - Paul Gambaccini

Lance Price‘Kaleidoscope has gone from an idea to reality in a few short months. There are many, many people to thank for this, but there are many more whose names we don’t know yet who deserve our support.’

    - Lance Price
