Lecture by the Speaker of the House of Commons, Rt. Hon. John Bercow MP, President of the Kaleidoscope Trust to mark International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia

A discussion of LGBT rights
On the 16th May 2012, the Kaleidoscope Trust will mark International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHO) by hosting a lecture by the Rt. Hon. John Bercow MP at the Royal Commonwealth Club. 


Speaker of the House of Commons and President of the Kaleidoscope Trust, the Rt. Hon. John Bercow MP wil be focusing on international LGBT equality and human rights.

John Bercow has been Speaker of the House of Commons since June 2009 and MP for Buckingham since 1997. He became President of the Kaleidoscope Trust at its foundation in 2011. He has been a champion of the human rights of gay and lesbian people for many years and recently spoke of his sense of duty to campaign on behalf of LGBTI people internationally.
